6/22/2007: Postcards from Paris with Joanne Juliet Lapointe and Kevin Kearney at Center for Spiritual Living in Sun City, CA
After exciting and moving performances in Covina, Long Beach and Mexico, Joanne is bringing her cabaret performance to the Center for Spiritual Living in Sun City, CA on Friday, the 22nd of June at 7pm.
This multimedia show includes an amazing collection of French songs. Some are performed in English. Some, in French. Some, you will know and some you will not. But, all are carefully chosen, moving and memorable. And some have been newly added, so even if you’ve seen this show before, there’s guaranteed to be something new!
You’ll find that the most romantic city in the world has some of the loveliest music written for her.
A special treat is a medley of Michel Legrand music. Legrand has created the music for countless movies and television shows, including Summer of ‘42, The Thomas Crown Affair and Yentl. He’s written many of your favorite songs and some that will soon be among your favorites!
Supporting the every song is a video presentation that features images of Paris, English lyrics and a video tribute to Legrand.
A love offering of $15 is suggested.
